To use the Global Shared APIM, Business Units (BUs) need to complete certain prerequisites so that APIM team can verify the request and onboard the BUs products. Creating an Service Principle Name (SPN) and Azure Active Directory group is required for pre-onboarding steps. Please get a new service principal scoped to a resource group. To get a new service principal. BU Managers AD Group and BU Developers AD Group are needed to get access your resource group with Azure Portal.

At first, BU needs to contact (dl.ce.gcp.gis.globalsharedapim@sodexo.com) the Global GIS Team. GIS APIM Team will then:

1. Understand the business requirements

2. Understand the technical architecture of the systems to come onboard.

3. Provide the overview of the platform.
